Daniel Snellings
Daniel Snellings joined the Heyman Law Firm in October 2023, after finishing his term as the 2022-23 law clerk for the Honorable Martin H. Schreiber II in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Mr. Snellings worked on a wide array of criminal and civil matters and experienced a variety of trials and motions hearings as Judge Schreiber’s first law clerk.
Before moving to Maryland, Mr. Snellings graduated from Louisiana State University Law School (“LSU Law”) in May 2020 with a Juris Doctor, a Graduate Certificate in Energy Law and Policy, and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law. In 2021, Mr. Snellings became a member of the D.C. Bar in good standing. His admission to the Maryland Bar is pending.
While at LSU Law, Mr. Snellings was a member of the 2020 National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition Team, a legal extern for both Louisiana’s Department of Environmental Quality and the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal, and a two-time CALI Excellence for the Future Award winner for Legal Research and Writing, and Art Law.
Before attending LSU Law, Mr. Snellings grew up in Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. He graduated from Tulane University in 2016 with a B.S. in Business Management, a Communication major, and a minor in Legal Studies.
